I’m Tonja — founder of Northern Lights Apothecary, A multi-business owner, full time employed and lifelong maker rooted in the wild heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. What began as a love for herbal traditions and handcrafted goods has grown into a full apothecary and maker studio, where I blend teas, tinctures, candles, bath and body products, and artisan wood and fabric art with intention and care.

I believe in slow living, seasonal ritual, and the power of women creating later in life. At 65 years young I am finally able to focus on the path I wanted to travel most of my life. Every product I make is a reflection of that journey — grounded in nature, guided by experience, and crafted to support others walking their own path with clarity, creativity, and courage.
